Freya Vaughan

Events Manager

As Events Manager, Freya leads a specialist team to deliver a wide range of conferences, meetings, weddings and dinners. Her role includes providing a high quality and efficient events service for all College customers including students, Fellows, staff and external clients, from the initial enquiry through to delivery on the day.

Molly-Rose Galloway

Events Assistant

Our Event Assistant Molly took up her new role at the beginning of 2018, moving from the College’s Catering Department where she worked as a Trainee Supervisor. Molly’s merticulous attention to detail is frequently commented on by clients.

Louise Segar

Events Administrator

Louise joined the Events team as Events Administrator in Autumn 2018 following many years’ experience of working in an administrative role in a wide range of settings, from oil refineries to hospitals. Her in-depth knowledge of office systems and keen attention to detail is a great asset to the team, ensuring that the best possible service is delivered to both internal and external clients.

Chris Pope

General Manager Events, Catering and Residences

Chris’s formative experience is as a Head Chef and prior to his role at Murray Edwards, he worked as Head of Catering and Executive Chef for Delia Smith at Norwich City Football Club. He has also worked at the House of Commons, on the Cunard QE II and for the 5 star Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Teri Byrne

Catering Operations Manager

Our Catering Manager Teri Byrne previously worked in events at Newmarket Race Course, managing functions such as Newmarket Nights, as well as corporate functions and private parties. Highly focused and determined for clients to receive the best possible service from our staff, Teri and her team apply their organisational expertise and attention to detail to all events at the College.

Joe Dean

Head Chef

Our ambitious team of chefs is lead by Joe Dean, who previously worked as head chef at luxury hotel chain Hotel du Vin. Committed to providing interesting and modern food, responsibly sourced, Joe and his team create beautiful, seasonal fine dining dishes and conference buffet options.
