The Dome delivers special setting for Christmas celebrations

Background

Sure Petcare organises an annual Christmas party for its staff, choosing a different venue each year to keep up the element of surprise.

Event

The main criteria was location, with a venue that catered for everyone’s travel, accommodation and parking needs and Murray Edwards was able to tick all these boxes.

Feedback

Catherine Taylor, usability engineer at Sure Petcare and one of the organisers of the event said: “The size of the venue became a much bigger factor than in previous years as the company has expanded, and we needed more space to be able to pull off the kind of event we wanted.

“The standard of the catering is also a key component – it’s a must that the Christmas event has great food, and Murray Edwards didn’t disappoint.

The Dome is a fabulous space and really helped to make the evening feel special. We were able to have a ceilidh which in the past we hadn’t been able to because of space constraints.

“It was also lovely that we were able to keep the tables during the ceilidh which meant that people had space to sit and chat as well as dance.

“The style of the building is also a nice change to the more traditional colleges and created a different atmosphere to previous events. Overall it was a lovely evening and we received a lot of positive feedback from our staff.”
